This phrase is best explained over at our box content page as it's a more in depth explanation of the process but essentially it is Amazon's requirement that you tell them what is inside each of the boxes you send to them IF there are multiple boxes coming inbound to them to the same warehouse.
The ASIN is the Amazon Stock Identifier Number for every product on their catalog. In the hierarchy of codes that identify products, this is the at the core and the bottom and is the most essential for comparing apples-to-apples when comparing products.
